Well...At least that should make up for the film being a domestic failure...
For all the problems live-action Ghost In the Shell had, at least its futuristic trailers had exciting visuals.

The stupidly overblown marketing campaign is one of the big reasons why this movie will likely never make its money back, but at least they might get a shiny trohpy out of it

The amount of money spent on marketing the movie is about par for the course with Hollywood major releases.

Damn, they have to make up stupid categories so that everything can win something. It's as ridiculous as MTV Movie Award's 'Best Kiss' category. It's like making a Classico Trophy just so Barcelona or Real Madrid fans can have something to brag about even if the opponent wins the overall tournament (CL or La Liga).

It can sit alongside its inevitable Razzie awards.

Well, a winning trailer is harder to produce than it sounds.
