Ah crap, I just went to NYC this June and probably won't go again for a while. Oh well, at least I saw The Book of Mormon there.

That's pretty cool, it's a shame I won't be able to go.
Actually, the chapter will probably come out Wednesday since we just had a break, therefore we may know what the announcement is tomorrow. |

Ahh wish my local orchestra's put on Anime music shows would be sick, they team up with VG live every few years for a show but that's about it.

No Madoka? Surprising, since it's THE magical girl anime of the past decade. Plus the music from it is one of best anime OST i've read heard.

Heh, I was expecting some quick complaints about how they're going strictly for mainstream levelpopularity anime. I'm glad I haven't seen those. This is an interesting pick though, and I wonder what songs they'll use for each. Will there be orchestrated renditions of opening and closing sequences?
It'd be hilarious if it was. |

Pretty awesome for them to honor Shonen this way.

I don't see any magical girl in the lineup, I'm assuming that all 4 concerts will be different?
I wish they'd bring these anime-based concerts to the west coast more often, they're always in NYC . I'd love to hear a Ghibli, Natsume Yuujinchou or even Sawano Hiroyuki concert.

It's times like this I wished I lived in NYC. It would be nice if they eventually had a YT video of this for those that couldn't make it.
