Perhaps after all the Godzilla hype between the success of the American film and the announcement from TOHO that they'll be doing their own movie is what caused this to come to fruition?

Either way, that CG is pretty bad. I wouldn't mind seeing a new Gamera though.

I was hoping for a minute that Shusuke Kaneko might be involved, as I really enjoyed his films in the 90s. It would still be awesome if this continued from the cliffhanger end of the third one, but I imagine they're just starting over.

More Camera is always a good thing Very Happy Hell,I thought the 90's trilogy was better than most Godzilla films.

Sacrilege! How dare you sugg... yea, they were... Gamera FTW. He can fly properly.

We shall not speak of Godzilla's tail grabbing, flame throwing, backwards flying monstrosity of a scene...

So this isn't a movie trailer but rather part of a somewhat larger video (a "short film", perhaps?)? I was hoping this was previewing a full length movie.

I wonder if this trailer was shown at this year's past NYCC.

I attended that panel toward the end but made off with a nice shirt with concept sketches from the creators. So I'm looking forward to it.

Well, if you're reviving Godzilla then of course it's time for new Gamera feature as well.
