Now just give an option where those of us who wish to prepay for a year upfront can do so.

I originally wasn't gonna upgrade to this since 2 minutes out of a 42 minute show isn't all that bad when I'm getting the episode the very next day. But at only $4 more I may bite.

Pretty sure standard Hulu plus won't work if you have an adblocker running. |

Nope, Adblock won't work. All it will do is say "Please enable ads" and makes you wait for it too load with that message. So if the add is 40 seconds long, you are waiting 40 seconds to look at a blank screen. I really hate Hulu due to the ads since we are already paying for the service unlike Netflix and now we have to pay more for the ads to be disabled.

It's about time they made it not shit, but it's too late for me. I've got like 5 streaming subscriptions. Don't need/want another one.Especially when it cost more than all the others.
Yeah, it breaks it. |

Now if only Funimation and Hulu make their services available in the UK and Europe, I wouldn't have to use a free VPN to access them; although it is free so I can't really complain...

Its because the networks charge Hulu more to get content next day as opposed to Netflix's 6 month lapse model. Its ads or a pricier subscription. No way around it. As someone who watches like 20 American shows a season, Hulu is absolutely essential for me. Hulu and Netflix cater to simiilar but slightly different audiences. |

Why can't they ad free at $7.99/month?

You do know who owns Hulu, right? Right? |

Fox, Disney, and NBC. But the fact remains that lower prices with an ad model has allowed them to buy more content. Furthermore the higher ups at Hulu have been resistent to an ad free model because of money. http://www.engadget.com/2015/07/17/wsj-hulu-ad-free-pricing/ The subject has been written about plenty. Its not like I'm making it up. |

I've been a Hulu subscriber and their anime content is better than Netflix hands down. I'd prefer Hulu over places that cater just to anime or just to movies because I can get a ton of content for one sub not 3.

Well, that's good. Hulu has a wide range of anime content including classics like Utena and Lain, and obscure mid-2000s anime too. It's much better compared to Netflix's "only the stuff that you can find merchandise of in Hot Topic" selection.
