Interesting key visual.
I think we're going to have a very strong and perhaps independent female protagonist for this season just judging on that silhouette. Very excited for season 2 ofc!

First - OMG I LOVE KATSURA'S ART SO MUCH!!
Second - that visual looks amazing. Looks like this will be a much higher budgeted anime than s1. Reminds me of Bahamut's visual and the art in that was phenominal

Hopefully we get the great CG armor again; I really enjoyed the unique aesthetic and contrast with the more traditional animation.

I'm very excited for this. Hopefully this is the start of a new trend for the series and, much like the live action series, they start releasing more with different protagonists and, in the case of the anime, different time periods.

I will be praying for more beefy manly oyajis. Especially sukebe ones.
Hopefully they won't all get killed off this time.

Very awesome to see Katsura doing designs for a franchise like GARO, should fit it like a glove. If they decide to do a continual animated sub-franchise of it, I hope they get a different, distinctive character designer for each iteration. On that subject…I find it very odd that GARO is even getting a second series, given how poorly the first did in sales (though reviews have been kind to it). I guess Maruyama's committed, not that I'm complaining…

Garo is unlike most anime (and tokusatsu) in that it doesn't rely on physical sales of merchandise to fund itself.
The Garo line of shows primarily make their money through pachinko games. There are some really ornate looking Gaor pachinko games out there in Japan and these things almost entirely help the shows become funded, regardless of sales in other areas.

It's a shame the first season didn't do well but I'm glad we're getting a sequel. I didn't expect a news cast and setting though, while I'll miss Leone and the rest I'm really looking forward t this.

It's always great to see someone enjoying Katsura's art. The man just does not get enough love here in the States (though I guess that's making the assumption you are in the states, haha).
I don't even know anything about this series, but if nothing else, I'm gonna stay posted just to see what the art looks like.
