I wish they would release this and the HD remake of the first game, physically.

The left overs from Capcom present....
Seriously, bring the magic boxes back. This game is a "job" to play through. |

I wish they would do true remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, those games have not gotten any love, and don't say
"what about umbrella and darkside chronicles?" I don't count those, I'm talking true remake not some rail shooter that gets me dizzy, I'm looking at you Darkside. |

How about an HD collection of the first 5 games? Sort of the Resident Evil version of the Halo: Master Chief Collection. 5 was unplayable and 6 wasn't even a horror game, but I'd take 1-4 and zero. I still haven't even played the first two... and probably never will if they don't get an HD remaster.

Actually ever single HD remaster done for Resident Evil/Bio-hazard got a physical release in japan. We are the ones here in the west who get gimped on physical releases lately. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/301524276414?lpid=82&chn=ps http://www.ebay.com/itm/Used-PS3-Biohazard-Resident-Evil-4-HD-Revival-Selection-F-S-Japan-import-/171769763625 http://www.ebay.com/itm/UsedGame-PS3-Biohazard-Resident-Evil-Chronicles-HD-Selection-Best-Japan-Import-/301622768752 That aside I find this news to be fantastic for people who missed out on playing this game. Resident Evil 0 has been chained to Nintendo only systems for the past thirteen years and it's about damn time those shackles are undone. |

How so?
What exactly makes a horror game a horror game? And how is this a prerequisite to enjoying a game? |

Yeah but weren't those games censored for those releases? |

It isn't a prerequisite to enjoying the game. I liked 6(Other than the fact that after three playthroughs it started to get extremely buggy and I could no longer pick up ammo for some reason). It was a totally fine action/adventure game. What it lacked was the suspense and tension of the the earlier ones. I wasn't ever low on(or out of) ammo, guns were extremely easy to use(weird complaint, I know, but having ineffective weapons can add a lot of tension to a horror game), I didn't feel like I needed to run for my life, I wasn't forced to get creative with hiding spots, I wasn't really ever put in situations where I felt scared, or really even startled. That's what makes a horror game for me. 6 didn't really have that. Good game, but not really horror. It's sort of like the difference between Dead Space 2 and 3. I like both games, but one is an action adventure game and one is a horror.... actually, now that I think about it, it's literally the exact same thing... and I guess I just opened up a new can of worms if you disagree on that one too. |

Nah just curious my interpretation of horror usually involves atmosphere and characters/monsters involved. 6 delivered on that with Chris's and Leon's routes.
