Lucky...
Is there anything we can do in the US to get these released here? And I don't mean at a few select festivals, I mean an actual release, if not on DVD then maybe on iTunes? Or will anything done on the American side be futile?

I highly doubt there will be, because the first live-action rurouni kenshin doesn`t have a official dvd release yet either.

There are various licensed overseas Asian Blu-ray/DVD releases with English subtitles for the first movie, so I expect the same for the sequels. You can find them on Yes Asia. Haven't actually seen any of them so I can't vouch for the quality of translation, etc.

I should've been clear: when I said "these," I meant all three of them. I'm acutely aware that it hasn't gotten an official N American release yet. I saw the first one while living in Japan, but my living situation has changed and I can't exactly fly back to Japan just to watch two movies.

Yeaaahh, if I had more money to blow I might risk it.
I don't even need a DVD/Blu-ray release; those can be expensive to produce. I'd be fine with just downloading it from the iTunes store.
