I do love me some random OVAs, and I haven't seen this one yet.

but will it still come in a pink DVD case?
(...seriously, that was one of my favorite things about having Jewel Hunter Lime on my shelf)
it was a pretty cute little show, hope it does well for them

What the Hell...???
Oh well, since I too love OVAs, particularly 90s OVAs, and Sec 23 deems this one worthy of releasing in today's market, I will prolly check this one out.

Now here's a title that hasn't seen the light in a loooong time. Glad to know that some of the older 90's anime are getting a second chance.

I remember watching this myself a long time ago and it was a pretty fun anime, up there with the likes of Assemble Insert and Idol Project!

This seems pretty obscure for a license rescue; not that I'm an expert or anything, but I've never so much as heard of this title.

I don't think that it was very popular in the sense of having a lot of people talk about it. But most people who did talk about it in the old newsgroups did seem to like it, if I am remembering correctly.
I bought the ADV DVD release and watched it about 12 or 13 years ago. I remember that I enjoyed it, but that is all that I remember.
Since it is only 90 minutes I just put it on my short list for shows to watch again. I still have the DVD.
As for being an obscure thing to license, it is possible that it was part of a package.

Yeah, or just some old dangling license that the Japanese production company said, "Meh, we'll let you have it for 50 bucks." Cheap license-rescues are probably like printing money at this point.

Yeah could be that too.
It's kinda neat to see these.
Already picked up some of those old OVAs Discotek released/re-released earlier this year too.

This was actually one of the very first shows that Sentai licensed back in 2008. For whatever reason, they are just getting around to releasing it now. Perhaps they just decided to push it out before the license expired, or there was some other issue holding it back. It was almost certainly part of a bundle deal at that time though.
