I realize that the station has a limited budget, but there are plenty of cheap shows that they could have acquired that aren't as agonizingly bad as Mezzo TV. This is the kind of thing that should be swept under the carpet and forgotten forever, not broadcasted on television.

Yeah, but you don't live in the UK so you don't understand that any anime on the tele is a plus for us, besides it's only temporary until something better is released here. It was either this, or Mahoromatic.

Honestly, I think Mahoromatic would've been a much better choice.

Yeah, but this is temporary. They said this was a placeholder for another big show they're trying to acquire.

Look at it this way... You guys in North America are lucky to have a market for anime and manga big enough as it is while our market is smaller than bloody Australia's for crying out loud.
Any anime that we get that's not aimed at kids on the TV in the UK is a definite bonus and already another satellite channel over here is showing Rurouni Kenshin under the Samurai X name...
And not only that, supposedly some channel was going to show Yu Yu Hakusho but have put plans to screen it on ice... [all signs pointing to Toonami UK who have gone way downhill since their so-called new look back in March]
