I'm looking for scenes with references to popular anime or video games(eg Final Fantasy) that I can use as photo backdrops. My plan is to photograph some folks then digitally paste them to these scenes. Ideally, the scenes are character and text free and not too cluttered, yet cool looking and have the feel of the specific series and genre they refer to. they could be drawn or copied directly from an actual cell.
So if anyone could help out, I would really appreciate it! Ideally if I could just save them from some sites for free. thanks! Mamiya |

Just Google "anime wallpaper" and you'll get over 9,000,000 results.

Try searching for "anime scenery" (remember the quotes) using a search engine. Doing so, I came up with this Eva site and this Love Hina site
Assuming I'm guessing at what you want correctly, that style of search and perhaps those two listed sites might at least be a start for you. And maybe someone else already knows a specific site with those sort of images. It looks like it's going to be a little challenging to find, but good luck. |

Another good one is theotaku.com... though they are not full of quality ones like i believe animewallpapers.com are.... there is a very high number (and sometimes browsing doesn't have specific titles so you might have to type it in the search).

One my favorites is Ningen's Wallpapers. If you want pure high quality, check out AnimePaper, downside is that it requires lots of participation.
I would also suggest checking out DeviantArt. Not all anime, but some of the best artists post there works there, just browse the anime category.

There is a web-ring I go to called "Desktop Angels" and they have a lot of really good, high resolution, wallpaper.
You can also Google/Yahoo "Desktop Zero" and they are part of that web-ring. They are also one of the best with the best pics. |

Aside from animewallpapers.com I also find Fredie's Wallpaper to be pretty comprehensive.
