YES!!!!! With the director of Guu involved, XXXHolic will officially become the most screwed up, mind-bending CLAMP adaptations that's ever made. It would have been cooler if Gainax was involved in this, but that would have made the audience get brain tumors or something.

Well of course the staff from the movie would work on the TV series. That was really a no-brainer to me.

Well it could have gone either way since none of the key staff members from the Tsubasa Chronicles TV series worked on the movie. (Though it was a good thing they didn't. Otherwise, there would have been nothing to like about that side of the series other than the manga.) Anyways, this is the best news I have heard in a while. Now I'm even more excited about this series, especially since I like xxxHolic more than Tsubasa Chronicles. |

Wow ... the director of Genshiken and Hare+Guu?
I can sense that they'll be playing up the comedy angle of the series in this adaptation.

While I'm somewhat disappointed that MADHOUSE still isn't onboard with all the new CLAMP stuff... now that we have PRODUCTION IG AND the dude who directed GENSHIKEN, I'm happy

I cannot wait until XXXholics is available! My cousin was hoping that XXXhoics would be made into TV series and she was soooo happy when I told her that her wish came true. *jumps for joy* I don't really know much about these directors but i don't care as long as the series come out as good as the mangas.
