That is good to hear, I am really enjoying the anime and manga as it is released. If the live action is done right it could be great. This makes me think of Love*Com and its live action...a bit of a disappointment, but still enjoyable to fans of the series (one being myself). Also reminds me of Honey & Clover live action movie which was just okay, nothing fantastic. Even if it isn't great, I still think it will be another live-action movie that fans will enjoy.

Yay, I love the Anime and it is joyous to see another addition into the franchise.
Still, a film? I'd rather they'd have made a television series. Oh well, great news nonetheless.

Awesome news! I love the anime and will be picking up the manga at some point. I'd be very interested to see a live action version of this.

It's a story about first love. Totally fits being a live-action film title imo.
I love the anime.

You must be watching a different series to everyone else then as the anime is easily one of the best from the current season.
Everything has different tastes of course so I'll let ya off the hook. lol

Even though I didn't like KnT, I guess that's cool news for the fans.
I always pictured this kind of stuff being made live-action anywayz.

I first started watching the anime, and then ended up reading the manga as well. I anticipate watching the live action film when it eventually comes out, I hope that they will create a good adaptation and pick the right cast.

I say it's boring because it is. now why everyone actually likes it is pretty weird for me. it's just over-hyped like Bakemonogatari was and Higashi no Eden (though i kinda liked Higashi no Eden except for the fact that i gotta wait half a year for the movies to come out). also the best of the current season is easily DtB s2 and Aoi Bungaku.

I guess it depends on what you watch. I watch DtB, Aoi Bungaku, and KnT and I must say that they are pretty good. I guess Kimi ni Todoke tops for the female audience more than the male audience, but I do know a few guys who like Kimi ni Todoke as well.
Anyway, I hope they pick the right actress on this one. Everyone's going to be critical.

That prob depends on the female as Sawako takes 'suspension of disbelief" to a new level imo. I still believe that Sawako was made as a male fantasy character. Kazehaya is a female fantasy character. I'd bet the girls are in it for Kazehaya more than Sawako.
They just need to pick the latest hearthrobs that can act as Kazehaya, Ryu and Pin imo.
