Wow really glad that I pre-ordered the Wizard edition when it was first announced, but I do feel bad for all the people that got screwed over. Sad

I was just playing the Digimon Adventure game on the train today. I'd like to say it's amazing, but honestly... It's not. It's extremely slow-loading. Even if you install it! Some scenes randomly don't have voice acting for half the scene, then get it back! And it's not a glitch. The problem is that they tried to cram soooo much into a PSP game. It would have made a phenomenal PS3 game with the amount of nostalgic, beautiful Japanese dialogue and story. It just lacks some things.

Still, I'm happy that I bought it, and will continue to play. Maybe this will get Bandai to release the Japanese DVD set again...? (I'm not paying over 1000 dollars for a used set, NO F'ING WAY)

I wanted Ni No Kuni, but put in my preorder too late. I'm not paying a huge premium to an Ebay scalper to get a Collector's Edition, and I'm not going to reward the publisher for botching up orders so badly by buying the regular edition when the CE is what I really want.

I dislike consumerism on that scale, but it seems impossible to prevent fools and their money from departing.

Ni No Kuni is a visually appealing game, but I wouldn't spend that much on a collector's edition just because it's rare. If there isn't $300+ worth of stuff then I am not spending that much.

It's too bad Monolith can't just make more Xenogears games. That is my favorite game ever made. Their newer games have still been fun but have never had near the impact Xenogears.

The Ni no Kuni hardbound strategy guide is very nicely done. It's similar to the Rogue Galaxy guide in scope and execution, and contains more interviews and art at the end. My copy came with a code for a familiar DLC (as did the game) though those may have been specific to the way they were purchased.

Demon Gaze and Monster Monpiece, I really want to import both of those games (yes, I'm impatient!).

It's too bad about the low possibility of a collector's edition for Pandora's Tower, but at least we're getting it!

And Fire Emblem, oh how you make me happy to be Canadian! Already able to pick it up!

That's a shame about the Wizard's Edition and I'm disappointed in Namco Bandai for letting things go down that way, but stuff happens. I haven't picked the game up yet, as I've heard good and bad, but I still intend on getting it down the line.

You people really (Wizard's edition folk) should really have known better. Namco Bandai's online store looks like it was built in the early 90s, with no method for keeping track of your order (or even viewing it for that matter), and no real organization anywhere in sight.

The moment I saw that this set was exclusive to that store, I knew to plummet my expectations. You could just smell the bullshit a mile away.

I detest Gamestop, but they at least had a copy of the game, and a kickass bonus steelbook case along for the ride.

Depends on how much one values things. Some people would pay that much for a 6.5-hr anime series.

Pandora's Tower: Well well, we now have every Wii JRPG we wanted to bring over here since the whole Rainfall thing started a couple years back. A victory in that sense, right?

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem: Yup, this is going to be the standout title to take note of for Wii U. Crossovers between two completely unrelated universes are just huge setups for either epic success or major disappointment. We shall see.

Ni no Kuni Controversy: Wow, this ended up getting so bad they labeled it a controversy? Dang, and here I thought it was just people whining on GameFAQs about mishandled pre-orders. I did think the topic bumping was kind of weird. "That many people were gypped on their orders?" I wondered. I'm quite surprised truthfully.

Demon Gaze: Interesting premise, but do the party members all have to be female? I'm tired of that harem party setup (only game I remotely tolerated it with was Mimana Iyar Chronicle and it did that very lightly at best).

Digimon Adventure: I think it's safe to say they won't be bringing over any new Digimon games that aren't set for current gen consoles. Sucks the PSP is considered "dead" here or we'd have gotten this and Re: Digitize already. Now Westerners are once again forced to import if they want a Digimon game and pay the insane cost of shipping overseas. I wonder though, say this was localized: would it be hard to get the entire English dub cast together to voice the characters again? Or would they leave it in Japanese? (Can't stand Tai in Japanese personally.)

God and Fate Revolution Paradox: Reduced to level one every time? The Dawn of Mana syndrome all over again? On the other hand, it's Nippon Ichi and they rarely make a stinker, plus the premise does sound interesting so maybe the level thing is a way to avoid letting you get hideously overpowered like you can do in just about all of their games.

As some one who bought it over PSN, are you sure it's not just your game?
Half the issues you've had apparently I haven't had. Game loads smooth on my memory stick and voice acting has specific sections where it starts and cuts off.

Anyway; I'd disagree with it being on PS3. To be honest, games like this I've always found worked better on hand held systems before moving to home consoles (testing ideas, etc.) Now, if they'd do a 02 game on the PS3.....

The funny thing is, I tried to cancel my preorder of the wizards edition, but they still sent me a copy.

200+ sold. Laughing and people say premium prices don't work in the American market. Guess Aniplex was right after all.
