I went to the licensing show today June 23 05 and saw so much!
Funimation:
I saw Gen Funakga(Spelling) he's short I thought he was a tall and skinnny old man; I would've never thought he was chubby and short. I spoke with Jackie smith, she's cool she gave me a book with all their upcoming shows and DVDs. by the way they played a trailer for Pandalian; that show looks childish but it has alot of action in it that can really drive it to success!
Viz:
Not much from Viz, it looked like it was closed; because I didn't see no one around there, I didn't bother walking up to them. However saw the Naruto Billboard cut out from a distance with trailer(doesn't look like there done with it).
Hasbro:
Hasbro had a huge booth with all of their stuff and I saw the Transformers movie trailer. but from what I saw the movie looks like its not going to have real people; it just had the transformers like optimus with a new body transforming in better 3-D and doing stuff stating coming soon.
4Kids:
Their Booth was huger, they had a trailer playing of Magical Doremi where they kept the opening animation in tack but the changed the song. I saw the Chaotix logo; the logo gave off a dark atmosphere, much darker than yugioh. I also saw GI joe Sigma Six; the animation is just amazing, Also Yugioh Gx had its trailer played and it was cool, not to mention the ton load of Yugioh cards that they had thrown on the floor inside the booth display case; If i wasn't a good person
All in all the day was good

Not really; A few other fella's and I where the only 18-19 years of age people looking at Exhibit and where the only 18-19 years of age individuals at the convention center in total. Also considering the fact that the older people where mostly interested and busy in conserving with the CEO's and rep's of the company; than looking at cards like we were, they rarely stopped to glance down the booth, but it was still fun.

That trailer probably had little to do with the actual movie, you're sure it wasn't a video for the Cybertron line? The director of the movie hasn't even read the script yet so I doubt they've started showing off designs without his input. Not final designs anyway.

No it said Transformers the movie and I've seen Cybertron and that wasn't cybertron. However you are right that its to early but could it have been a trailer made with the concept art of how the robots will looks; because optimus and that other robot looked crazy hot! by the way they said the movie is slated for sometime next year and that Speilberg might be directing with dreamwork, so who knows.

Ok, just wanted to make sure you know the difference.

Geeze, what good are you if you can't sneak a few pictures?

Yeah, they're aiming for the end of 2006, but at the rate they're going it'll be more like early 2007. Dreamworks and Paramount are both on board, Spielberg is on board too, but he's the executive producer. The director is Michael Bay, they just want to fine tune the script one last time before letting him read it.
So, how about some details, do you think you can describe what these characters looked like?
