Hi everybody.
Anybody know of any good ninja,kunoichi,samurai action anime movies or series? I'm not really into sci-fi and I didn't really know of many good ninja anime. Thanks for your time.

These are all pretty current shows, for ninjas, Naruto is your best bet. As for samurai, try Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, or Peacemaker. All these shows are good. Naruto has a movie and so does Rurouni Kenshin, which are all called Samurai X, there are 3 in all.
You must be new to anime or maybe you have already seen these but all of them are really good. |

Pick up The Dagger of Kamui. Even though it's over 20 years old, it's more fun to watch than Naruto.

There's always Ninja Scroll as well as that new one from Gonzo Basalisk. Wrath of the Ninja and Ninja Resurrection too, but I wouldn't recomend those two.

Naruto all the way. It's much "lighter" than most ninja anime, but it has great action and comedy.

Lol, stop making fun of the newbie. Yeah, Naruto's your best bet for a "fun" ninja series, with Flame of Recca also being great in that vein. In terms of "serious" or "violent" ninja series, go with Basilisk and Ninja Scroll. Oh, and for samurai stuff, go with Bleach, it's great. Also Shura no Toki was a great samurai series, if short. |
