I was just at borders and they have a deal where its buy 2 get 1 free, least priced book is free. I managed to pick up:

Instant Teen: Just add nuts 3
For love and money 1&2
Cardcaptor Sakura Master of the CLOW 1
Chrono Crusade 2,3,4
Boys Be 3
Happy Lesson 1

for like, 60 bucks plus tax instead of the usual 90 bucks.

Its actually a better deal than those 25% off coupons...

What was stated on Borders' website is a tad confusing; but it's basically buy 2 graphic novels and get one free - Three (3) books for the price of two (2).

However you word it, it's definitely a pretty sweet deal. Cool

They did this deal over last summer too. I forgot what I got but it was all good. I think it was like 2 volumes of Sgt. Frog and Case Closed. I think I'll get Chrono Crusade vol. 4, Kenshin 13, and Bleach 6. Just to catch up.

What I hate most about borders is they never have the book I want in stock and if they do, the book is worn out and dirty (especially for white cover).

A couple of tips:

* Try to make friends on whomever does the section. That way, they can save books for you.

* Special Order thru Waldenbooks or Borders Express and do it early. Never Borders. Give a Week and Half to be sent and processed, and order around the Latter part of the week (Thursday or Friday; Book comes in a week later.)

As far as I know however, it ends o 5/1/05.

That is so annoying, when you want volume 4 of something and all they have is v. 3 and 5 and there's a sale sign hangin' right there. I'm picky about buying manga too. It's gotta be in perfect condition, fairly stiff, not like 50 people have looked through it. I ordered off amazon.com once, and the manga came in perfect condition. Very Happy
