All I could find in the line of wall scrolls or poster for Saiyuki was on ebay. You can just do a quick search of Saiyuki on ebay and look for posters/ wall scrolls.

Also here is a link to an ebay store that sell poster/ wall scrolls as well as other anime colleticables.

A good many of the posters sold on ebay are bootlegs, especially when they're sold at 5 for $10 or whatever. Legit anime posters tend to go for around $5 or so (often more).

I do not know about the "posters" if they are bootlegged or not. Yet do not think that they are. Where it says they are about 25 by 15 inches where as Wall Scrolls are 43 by 31.5 inches. I just think that they are going for less due to their smaller size, yet the wall scrolls if you look are about $10 apiece.

Nah, I see these same posters sold at cons for a buck a pop. They're cheap bootlegs with no copyright info and fairly bad quality. Infact, being smaller than a normal poster can also be a good indicator. Also, most legit posters are sold rolled, most (if not all) bootleg posters are sold flat making it easier to sell in bulk. Also, not how on the store you linked to they wont list the retila value? That's because bootlegs don't have a retail value. I'm telling you, just about any time you buy posters on ebay in lots, if they're not individually wrapped, or if the seller doesn't offer copyright information, you're looking at bootlegs.

And as for wall scrolls, if copyright info doesn't exist then you know it's a bootleg.

Hmm, it's hard to tell just by looking at them the way they are on the site. Going by what info they have on the site I would normally say yes, but knowing that Anime Castle no longer sells new bootlegs (as in they have some bootlegs, but they don't reorder when they run out, that was an agreement they made to advertise here on ANN, and I think that's just DVDs anyway) and seeing the prices I'd say they are legit posters.

They are still offering new bootleg goods. The Inuyasha and Samurai Champloo scrolls are fakes and those are recent. All the Saiyuki posters, half of the images previously from pencil boards, are bootlegs. In most china town you can find these for .35-.50 cents.

Keyword to look for is "Laminate". No licensed posters are "laminated". The only currrent licensor is Great Eastern for posters. ADV makes wonderful posters but it never has occured to them to make some to sell. Now that I think about it... I should ask GE if they can get a license for Reload posters and scrolls.

I just wanted to point out that Broccolli International have posters laminated but they called "clear poster," so not all are bootlegs.

Broccolli will also be selling the legit Samurai Champloo clear posters so the ones selling on Anime Castle are indeed bootlegs and posted recently.

Clear posters are not considered a "lami poster". They are made of plastic. They are not advertised as Laminate Posters by any vendors in Japan, and I have not seen this in the US. The Boot posters are paper which are laminated in plastic. Thye are often advertised as being laminate. Licensed items are not.

Kodansha, Broccolli and Movic do provide pastic covers for the posters as protection. This is not a laminate for the poster however some people may think they are laminate because of it.

As you said, they are called Clear Poster. There is a big difference. Especially in quality and price.
