Wow, so the franchise apparently is still popular enough that it warrants a brand new video game some 10 years later? Maybe the dream of a reboot isn't so dead after all...
I wonder who'll voice Saitou with Hirotaka Suzuoki passing away a few years back. I vote for Ken Narita.

2D or 3D? The X Button just reported 3D so who's right?

Oh wow. I remember when Kenshin first came out in Japan over a decade ago. I watched the TV series and movie when I was 12/13.
I second a reboot of the anime. Would be awesome to see them follow the manga more closely (Season 3 was a slight let down).

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this. If they're bothering to make a game for a show that has been over for so long, then maybe they'll also bother to make it good.

that's surprising considering that the series is over a decade old and even the American releases were finished years ago. One can dream that this might inspire someone to finally make the Jinchu arc animated.

Irony of the fact: I'm currently watching Kenshin. xD
It'll never hit the US but I'm okay with that, I'm gonna play it anyway. :3

Does anyone know if this is going to be a solid game, or just a shonen video game cash in. I would assume that the Rurouni Kenshin fandom over there are adults now.

Well, if we got Fate/Unlimited Codes on the PSN, for the PSP, this isn't entirely impossible to acquire.

This is awesome news! I hope this means we might see a reboot of the anime with the Jinchuu arc included!
This one would love to see RuroKen make a comeback with the Jinchuu Arc included that I would. Please let it happen. T__T
I'm surprised that RuroKen is still popular even after all these years. Then again, it was a classic so of course people will still love it even after all these years.

Kenshin is awesome! I bought all nine of the omnibus manga and the boxsets of seasons 1 and 2. I had to buy the filler season used disc by disc. Not paying $70 for a set with reviews that bad. I also have the movie and the director's cuts of the OVAs! RuroKen needs to do a reboot, and show the Jinchu arc!

I would be nice if this lead to more Kenshin anime. Closer to the anime like pulling a Brotherhood/Kai. Maybe if it sells well.

Also don't forget Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage (aka Hakuto Mousou). That game went to the US even if the anime was not broadcasted on US TV (just Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funi's video portal). It was enough to bring the game to US. So yeah there maybe some chances that Rurouni Kenshin PSP game could go to the US at some point.

Omg, please let this be a sign that they might continue or remake the anime. Please, God!
