Except for clips, I haven't seen Sea Prince and Fire Child. It was veteran voice actor Tony Oliver's first gig. He was Lupin in the TV dub. For Fist of the North Star fans. this is great.

Aw, The Sea Prince and the Fire Child was one of the movies I rented over and over as a little kid. I'd love to see it again!

If they got all the 165 episodes and moview of Legend of Galactic Heroes, that would be a dream come true for many old school anime fans. Select Fist of the North Star episodes were previously released by Manga Entertainment.

Somehow I get the feeling I'll be buying Oresama.

Never thought in a million years Episode 0 would get released over here. I will be getting that one. It's definitely the best Lupin. At least out of the 12 or so that I have seen.

Wasn't Sea Price and the Fire Child reviewed not too long ago in a Buried Treasure column? I bet Justin Sevakis will do a double-take after reading this bit of news!
But now to the matter at hand:
FIST OF THE NORTH STAR TV!!! ALL 152 EPISODES!!! Finally on DVD!!!
I could care less if it's sub only! To finally have this gem of anime entertainment in my DVD colection in its entirety is a dream come true! Discotek, you are Gods!

I'll be on Lupin for sure... though would have loved to hear news of us getting more of the TV series--A first series run, perhaps, would be lovely.
Regardless, some good licenses for Discotek (whom I've never heard of prior to this)... hopefully they can do them justice.

I would imagine Justin might do a double take. When an anime classic is re-released on DVD, the new release might be better than the original.

I want to no Fist of the North Star's release. If it's going to be about 10 episodes a set, or disc I'm not buying it. Now if it's about 30 or so episodes, I'll buy it.
I just hope that they at least make an effort to get one of these into Best Buy.

I read that it is going to be four sets... so probably almost 40 epis. a set.

Discotek's release of the series will be in 4 sets.
Let's do a little math.
152 episodes in the series
4 DVD sets
152/4 = 38
38 episodes per set.
