Definitely. Well, not surprised that MF is ending the two manga series since they pretty much washed their hands of it. |

I thought the issue was finally resolved, with both sides coming to terms. I personally like the series, and hope the LN continues and we get a season 2.

It was resolved. MF is not going to publish IS anymore so it makes sense for them to end the manga, too. |

Thats not what I meant, I heard basically there was a go ahead to continue the light novel, maybe with a different publisher; at least do a second season maybe adding an original ending, although based on the LN the story seems far from over. But as well as it sold, its hard to figure thats the end.

Kōdansha will publish Yumizuru Izuru's Hōkago Battlefield in August.
On Twitter in June, Yumizuru wrote that he was also writing IS, but he didn't write about whether a new publishing firm would publish IS. |

I really did love the anime but didn't bother to read the manga in hopes for a season 2. If MediaFactory isnt going to publish it, Yumizuru should have someone else publish it.
