If it's going to be a movie, are they really going to include the crossovers from xxxHolic? |

I don't know how they'll work this out if it's two movies at once. Moonphase posted a rumor a couple weeks about that a 20-30 minute CCS short will be before the XXXholic movie, but if it's instead a Tsubasa short that'll make more sense with this announcement.

Just because that person said the word "aired" doesn't mean you can just assume that they meant aired in America.
and I just want to say how happy this anime will make me!

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but whoever posted this news flash misread the text.
The announcement doesn't refer to a Tsubasa movie, but rather to the XXXholic movie: "Tsubasa" Secret Information 3: Moreover, this time "XXXholic" 5, which is serialized in Young Magazine and has been approved for a 2005 anime motion picture, will be sold at the same time (as Tsubasa 8)!! There will be a Same Release Commemoration Fair held at some bookstores!" Unless the poster was referring to a different Young Magazine side note, according to this, there will be no Tsubasa movie. |

I hope they do make a movie or anime out of the Tsubasa manga. This is the series that has gotten me to start buying manga. (As if I don't already spend enough money on Anime DVD's)

Yes, I can second that... I didn't want to say anything before because I didn't think anyone would believe me, but like was stated above, it only mentions the XXXholic movie. |

 i hope its made into a series; because chances are the japenese wouldnt screw it up; but try putting it in english..ugh we all know how well that might go...especially depending on which company gets ahold of it

Oh, it's going to be a series. "Tsubasa" will debut in April 2005 on NHK, according to the information disclosed in the latest issue of Shounen Magazine, its animation will be produced by Bee Train. The series itself is supposed to be 26 episodes long.
Hehe, well, obviously, nobody cares. Not that it would surprise me. ^^;; |

Bee Train? That's so.......underwhelming. I thought Madhouse were gonna do it for sure, based on their past record with Clamp. Hopefully it won't get turned into some angsty, depressing melodrama.
