Haha!
I suppose they meant "elusive" and not "illusive".
Anyway, this is good news. Since Leiji likes the Mayans so much, I'm starting to wonder if he's taking this 2012 thing seriously

The original word in Japanese, "maboroshi," literally means "phantom" or "illusion," and is used to describe items that were long-lost and were even considered not real. In other words, what was considered the stuff of legends.

I'm glad he's so busy even at his relatively old age!

Sounds like something I'd be interested in seeing. I'm curious to see what his vision of a "future Earth swallowed in sea of sand" will look like.

I see, I see. I was thinking of "elusive" as in "they couldn't find the scenario anywhere."

I've seen pictures of his study from when the Starblazers Yamator guys interviewed him. He has papers all over the place. Bet his wife was cleaning and found a sheet of paper with an outline from ages ago.

Seeing how I've been on this Ryosuke Takahashi binge lately (I'll be buying Gasaraki once it's $30 on TRSI, rest assured), seeing that name with Leiji Matsumoto is pretty badass. I look forward to this!
