That makes two of the favorite seiyuu in Gundam passed away, You Inoue also died a few years ago at age 56.

R.I.P, sir. You will be missed. I particularly love his voice as Saitou Hajime on Rurouni Kenshin. It's got that kick to it which fits the personality of Saitou so much. Thank you, and hopefully you're in a better place now.

He was one of the very best; I would watch some titles on the sole basis he was in them... there's only a handful that I have in that category. (The late Kaneto Shiozawa was another... both specialized in ice cool characters.)
Not much else for me to say that hasn't been said by others. |

Rest in peace, our eternal Captain Bright...
As an avid super robot/mecha fan, his voice has been my favorite all along. Haran Banjou, from Daitarn 3...what a classic. Shingo, from Goshogun... And I'll never forget Captain Bright, who has been our true Universal Century captain for 3 generations (0079, Zeta, CCA) "Sagen, DANMAKU GA USUIZO! Nani wo yatteiru!?" (Port side, the barrage is too thin! What are you doing?!?) |
