Cool story bro. Cool

(But really, I don't think it's that bad of a show at all)

Congrats on your first simulcast! I'll definitely have to check it out. Hopefully this works well enough that it will lead to more.

wait what

Did ANN confuse what show they're getting? I mean I don't think this is going to be as perverted as say Juuden chan but this really doesn't seem to be the kind of thing ANN would want to be associated with.

Personally, I find it hilarious. Very Happy

Not that it would happen, but I have to giggle at the idea: Suppose five years in the future ANN is on par with Crunchyroll or something in video streams and someone wonders/asks "When did you guys start doing this? What was the first show you got a simulcast deal on?"

"...A series about a guy who's in love with his sister...you know...one of those 'subversive incest' otaku shows."

"Oh...so what was it, heh, uh, called then?" ^^;

"My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute"

"..."

Actually, if I remember correctly, the first show streamed on ANN was Girls' High, a rather gauche little slice-of-life in its own way. Laughing

I can just imagine half the staff here beating their head against a wall going "no no NO!" Anyway, good luck with the simulcast!

It's actually pretty clean (from the first episode anyway.) Nice choice for a simulcast. Good luck with it!
(I'm slightly bummed that I can't view any of the simulcasts this year, but still glad that they're happening. ^^Wink

For a moment there I thought that said "Anime News Network", I must have read that wrong... Wink

Kidding aside, I had a feeling something was up when Tempest responded to this topic like it was the first time he'd heard of people being confused by the two names and in a slightly uncharacteristic over the top manner to boot. I'm on to you, Christopher!

And congrats, ANN has really come a long way!

Can't wait for the ANNCast for the explanation, I haven't stopped laughing due to this news. I can see part of why ANN did this, I mean if streaming does start to pick up than I could see why they would want to present ANN as an option, and this could be used to get more people to use the video section.

Somehow, I think this will be an awkward one for whoever does the streaming review. The plot alone sounds like something that would make more than a few staffers roll their eyes and groan while repeatedly face-palming.

On the other, there would clearly be a pressure, assumed if not actual, to be positive since it's the first simulcast for ANN. The future of ANN simulcasting could rest upon the success or failure of this show.

Maybe ANN should get a third-party to review it?

I wonder if this simulcast will lead to Aniplex-USA releasing this on DVD in the future. (Wouldn't do many any good since it'd probably be a sub-only release but still, I wonder if they'll look at the numbers here as a test run.)
