Durarara!! looks like it will be made of win. Just like Baccano!. The best part is, we don't have to wait much longer for it. According to the video, it will premiere in January. Also, I found the random placement of Horo hilarious. Hopefully FUNimation will pick up this new series as well.

Wish someone would license the Musashi movie already as well. I want to see that so badly.

Wait, GITS 2.0 will be released on DVD? I thought it was Blu-Ray exclusive.

King of thorn looks like its shaping up well, its the type that should be well done though. the plot itself is nothing new but peopl have alot of experience in the genre, so they definatly know how to handle it.

Durarara looks awesome though. I very much look forward to looking into it later. Very Happy

Cool, cool. Can't wait for Ghost in the Shell on the Blu. Kind of cool that it's a Best Buy exclusive. But the thing that I'm wondering is that will there be a new dub. Like the original, but would be cool for a new one since the Japanese did it all over again.

Talk about selected.
The only 2 cinemas in town aren't showing it, Empire and Cineworld.

They all are looking good. Can't wait for Durarara in 1/10.

Hopefully it gets picked up and gets a nice R1 BD release.

Ghost in the Shell 2.0 will get a DVD release in the UK, so I guess I'll be importing that.

For Baccano! fans, watch carefully at around the 1 minute mark, on one of the TV screens in the background.

Meanwhile, the animation style mix in Musashi still puzzles me, I want to see how that all works out.

Might be worth checking a review or comparison shots before getting GitS2.0, if you haven't already. A lot of people don't seem to like many of the intended improvements, and from some of the comparison shots I think I tend to agree with them.

Having seen both versions of the movie (I own the original, downloaded 2.0), I would recommend the new version to newcomers to Ghost In The Shell, and to fans of the franchise. For casual viewers, the differences won't be worth buying a new DVD.
