So... Like... Is this a comic from Korea or an American comic drawn by a Korean?
Because the article says "manwha", but I get the impression that it's the latter. |

Bahahaha. Well, it is perfect for a shojo manga. A love triangle between the fiery best-friend type and the cool and mysterious type with magical themes? Yeah, that's never been done before.

Good idea in going with a Korean artist. It being read left-to-right will make it more accessible for non-manga fans. Plus, if it sells well, that would mean more money for Yen Press. Meaning more licenses for us manga fans!
Other than the fact that this could end up being a great move for monetary reasons, I honestly could care less. Well, save for the fact that my sister will have yet another way to try and get me to check out the series. |

Hey, it looks better than the movie already, if only because we don't have to see their stage makeup in every scene coupled with their fantastic performances This is pretty much how'd improve the movie too, short of burning it (yeah, I did not like that movie either).
I'm getting the same impression here. |

Well, it was only a matter of time before something like this was going to be made; I'm just surprised it took this long, actually.
And thank you for that link, classicalzawa; that just made my day (and hurt my stomach more due to laughter but hey). |

Does anyone know of any other pieces done by the artist that is doing this? I was trying to use Google to find some but... the combination of 'Young' and 'Kim' doesn't work out too well. When I tried to add in some extra qualifiers I only found a Se-Young Kim.

Heck I'm looking forward to it. I really liked the first Twilight novel, yes, I know the movie leaves a lot to be desired (it's not that bad per say), but material like that screams ANIME or MANGA! I mean, come on, vampires and vampire romance has been done in anime and manga hundreds of times so I think a Twilight graphic novel (even if it will be Korean) is a good idea.

This series certainly won't be getting any of my money, but hey, if Yen gets a boatload of cash from this (which it probably will) and it leads to some series that I like to be published then I'm all for it.

Nothing like an excuse to draw pretty vampire boys.
I have to admit the art looks pretty good so far. |

"Kill it with fire" is the appropriate response, yes?

According to Twilight, fire is the only way to kill a vampire. So, yes, it is the appropriate response. |
