This is a pretty cute anime series about romance. It's about a mage undergoing training with trouble about her powers. I really liked the characters and the story. It isn't much, but it's cute. I loved the opening and ending music. UNDER THE BLUE SKY is my favorite! Has anyone else seen this?

Yep, I saw this when it first came out. It is a very nice anime, and it projects a very warm, quiet, and tranquil feel. It was a breath of fresh air from all the action packed animes I was watching at that time And yes, Under the Blue Sky is definitely a nice song, but I just seem to like the simplicity of the piano opening better

Your right. It is a relief from all the action-packed animes. I enjoy watching it all the time. The piano opening is wonderful too. It may become my new favorite anime in replacement to InuYasha and Sailor Moon.

So does this series have the same feel to it as say, Fruits Basket? I am a sucker for the warm feeling animes. Don't get me wrong, I love action anime's and drama anime's, but more than that I love something that makes me feel all warm inside, or something that makes me laugh so hard that I feel like my gut is about to bust. So would you people reccomend this title to me?

It's slower paced than Fruits Basket, but yeah, I'd say it has the same "feel" as FB. There isn't as much humor in Someday's Dreamers as FB, but they're both soft, feel-good anime.
Inu_Yasha_Jr.: Did you really need to insert the pictures with your post?

I guess they were a bit too big, huh. I guess not. I just wanted people to recognize what it looks like, like when you forget the title, but you still remember what the people look like, stuff like that...

Well, in response to Lone Wolf, I say you should give Someday's Dreamers a try, although it is a slightly different feel to Fruits Basket -- there really isn't too much humor... from what I can recall, it had a more serious feel to it. But like lianncoop said, it is slower paced than FB and it just somehow feels quieter. If it makes any sense, Someday's Dreamers is about the same feel as Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, more or less anyhow, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
Yay to Inu Yasha Jr for the possibility of having a new favorite anime Congrats!

You know I like Somedays Dreamers, and yes, I second the Fruit Basket Nominations.
But you know, my current favorite cute, feel good show is Figure 17. Let's just say, among other things, it's about a ten year old girl and her alien clone.
All the best,
Nani?

Yes, it was one of my favorite series of 2002. It's one of those "warm and fuzzy" feeling ones, and we have few enough of them as it is.
Yes, I enjoyed it greatly.

Well it sounds like this will be my next buy then, thanks all
I think the thing that really drew me to ask about it in the first place however was the animation, it looks really good. I love the character designs. Thanks again for your very helpful comments

My goodness. This is definently one of my favorite series. It really does give that nice warm fuzzy feeling all over, and touches you so softly and satisfies the yearning for relaxation and such. The music is absolutely brilliant as well if you haven't heard (in fact, my Mom loves the ost, and she never really watches anime and has pretty old fashoned tastes, being age 53 and all).
UNDER THE BLUE SKY by the indigo is probably tied in one of my favorite songs of all time. I kid you not. Please watch this series. It's money well spent. I originally got it against a certain someone's review, but I love it.
