I heard that their DVD's has an average DVD picture. Because recently I bought a few issues of Newtype USA. What's your experience with them?

I think that the quality has been pretty good from my own experiance. These DVD's have helped me make future buying decisions on a lot of the anime that own now. I must thank Newtype for having a preview disk of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoboshi, because I loved it so much that I went out and bought all four volumes right after I watched that DVD.
Something else I like about the DVD's is the fact that there are always a good amount of trailers for things up and coming. It introduces you to something new every month which is really nice.

I picked up my first issue of Newtype last month and really liked it. I saw the first episode of Kaleido Star. It wasn't bad. They deffinately make the cost worth paying for all the posters, reviews, manga and the dvd.

Except for the Demo DVD of Full Metal Panic (which seems to have a skipping problem and then stops all of a sudden), i've gotten really good Demos, and have bought Happy Lesson, Comic Party, Azumanga Daioh, and Nuku Nuku TV because of them.
Kinda mulling if I should get Abenobashi and Kaleido Star. Been into a War Movie gambit as of late. Watching The Longest Day right now to celebrate D-Day.

Yeah, the Newtype DVDs have made me want to see other animes (example: Azumanga Daiho, Comic Party). I really like the little demos they give you in them.

Kaleido Star is good so far, I got the first dvd (which has 5 eps). I know it has 2 seasons and is 51 eps long, but I wonder how they could continue to keep it interesting for such a long run. I guess they found a way though

I wish they can let me choose either sub or dub for all previews/trailers, not just for the feature episode.

I like them they tend to have good quality just occassionally pixely etc half of the time you may get a disc that gives you trouble playing I haven't got one that didn't work yet but have heard of that issue.
