I'm very glad I didn't buy Mahoromatic 1 and 2 at the latest ADV sale a few days ago. I'm curious as to what kind of packaging it's going to have because I think the 2 seasons use liteboxes, right? I'm not a huge fan of those boxes so if it's in that I'll just have to put Mahoro on the back burner for a while longer.

Also, how good is that Daphne show? The original Geneon release is now only $50 at TRSI because of this new release and it's very tempting (the collector in me is screaming BUY BUY BUY), but it's too expensive for a blind buy.

I am too, I bought the singles for both 1 and 2 off amazon.com a few months ago so I probably won't purchase the box set unless I see it as something of a collector's item then in which I just may do so.

*Daphne in the Brilliant Blue: Complete Collection, Part 1 - 325 minutes - $39.98 - 8/18/09

Is it just me or is the phrase, "Complete Collection, Part 1" a contradiction in terms?

No, it is not a contradiction in terms. It's the first part of the whole collection. Sort of like Funi does with their "Season part" box set.

Uh, no. A collection is either complete or it is not. Saying Season 1, Part 1 isn't the same thing. Saying Full Season 1, Part 1 would also be a contradiction in terms.
