I like my sci-fi, cyberpunk especially, but unless this is going to be a fantasy title then I'd at least like less blatant liberties to be taken.
With that minor point out of the way, the cityscape designs do look somewhat appealing.

Wonder how long this is going to be, exactly? How many 2-minute promos can they afford to have for a music video before the thing itself becomes just an extended cut of the promos?

So is this for a movie, or TV series, or a video game? I like the style of the designs, but if it's a video game it's no good to me.

According to the article, it was a "two-minute promotional video for Amanatsu, the science-fiction music video from the Kamikaze Douga anime studio"

Just a music video? Well that's interesting. Usually an MV only lasts long enough for one track which usually lasts under 5 minutes. Anymore than that and it would be an animated rock opera, not that that would be a bad thing, but it would have to be a first for anime. Still it looks like it would be a good movie without the music. Intreguing.
