What does everyone think of it? I think its one of the best soundtracks since Cowboy Bebop. I especially like Robins theme.

It was a good sound track. My favourite song was half pain by Bana.
Yet I think this thread would be better if I was moved to the music forum.
Edit:
Stupid dial up.

I love this soundtrack! It's one of my favourites. I really like the opening theme.

Haven't heard the OST yet, but if it's anything like Iwasaki's work on Kenshin or R.O.D, it must be fantastic.

Actually, this series has two OSTs if I remember correctly. I don't think there were any more.
Both are absolutly beautiful.

There are 2 OSTs and a single with full and karaoke versions of the OP and ED themes.

You'd be right in that assessment. I've listened to the first OST and I'm very impressed with it. In particular track...fifteen, I think (entitled "Flame" or somesuch) and the next-episode preview music. The preview music works quite well if you just set it on loop in the background while working.

I have the 1st OST, and it sounds pretty good. Not as dynamic as Seisouhen, but very decent. I wouldn't say it's better than Bebop though (WHR is a lot more meloncholy in my opinion.)
I like the track titled "Interogation." It's very smooth and good for just chilling out by yourself. "Robin" is good too, but I like the softer piano only version of it (can't remember what track # though .)
Overall, I think it's worth getting if you like the mood of the series -- brooding, yet quaint.

Does the soundrtrack have the slow sad paino version of the OP? they played it occassionally in the background...the only time that comes to mind is when Robin sees Amon and her Roommate on the 'bridge'. I love the piano version *drools*

Dilandau, there is a slow piano version of the closing (Half Pain) entitled Allay Pain on the first OST.

Yeah, I thought that's what it was. I remember hearing a piano version of Half Pain, but never Shell. It's a good song, track #20, I think it was.

Its the end theme, huh? Its been a while since I watched it, I assumed it was the OP cause I like it better than the ED. I'm glad that song is on the CD though, thanks!

I have both soundtracks to this series, and in my opinion the music for WHR is one of the best things it has going for it. Like other I love the opening and ending themes, but something I really like is the guitar version of shell. I'm not a metal head or anything like that, I just like to have that song going while I'm doing homework or surfing the net and the like. However I do not think this soundtrack is better than Bebop, because Bebop is one of my favorite, if not my favorite soundtrack of all time.
