I thought that Kazuya Minekura was a she? Or was Minekura a he and I just never knew it?

Huh. I dunno why now that I step back and look at it, but for the longest time I thought Saiyuki's creator was a "he," too.

The next issue is going to be May 16? Man, some people sure do have the patience to wait for stuff if it is going to take a month and a half for the next chapters of any series in that magazine to come out. Hopefully she can continue on with the Saiyuki series, including Reload.

Hello!
I am glad to hear that Kazuya Minekura will be able to finish Gaiden. I am hoping that she will be able to come back to Reload in the future. I am truly hoping that TokyoPop or someone will get the manga for Saiyuki Gaiden. I am also hoping that someone will get the Saiyuki Burial OVAs for DVD release too. |

*sigh* This was such a throwback, I've loyally bought Saiyuki since I happened to pick it up one day- I race to the store when a new volume comes out. It's disappointing since I know that no one seems to have plans to publish Gaiden... Still, it's kinda cool to know it's ended now.
