does anyone know where I can find a list of The Anime legends box sets. I've obtained several, Bebop,Outlaw Star,Escaflowne,Gundam Wing and was wondering if there are anymore out there. I've done some research and found several more but I'm trying to obtain a list of all of them.

PS: I'm not sure weather this thread should be placed in the retail section or the anime section. I'm new here as well so I appologize for my lack of understanding to the boards and my grammer.. dyslexia does that to you lol

Yes, this section is for discussion of anime content; please use the Retail section for releases of that content. Moving to Retail.

Somewhat related:

Has anybody experienced any similar problems with Bandai's Anime Legends boxsets? On my Cowboy Bebop, Fantastic Children, Outlaw Star sets (and one other one, but I can't remember which), there is some weird sort of haze that you can see on the data side of the disks. For Fantastic Children and Outlaw Star this results in a cyclical scraping type sound heard only during the start-up sequence and the disk menu, sort of like the disk is physically rubbing on the inside of the DVD player somewhere, but they otherwise play fine. On Bebop you hear the sound the whole time, it plays for disk 1, and it results in skipping. That's as far as I've gotten with Bebop. As for the fourth show (whose name I cant remember but I think it might be Scrapped Princess) has haze, but no other problems at all. I don't think it's a problem with storage because my oldest AL set, Escaflowne, is perfectly fine, whereas my newest one, Bebop, is the worst.

A note: I have no haze on any disk from a publisher not named Bandai.

I've got the cowboy bebop box set, and I haven't ever noticed anything like that on the bottom. The discs also play perfectly fine, except for on my friends X-Box 360, but on anything else there hasn't been a problem. I'd say you were just unlucky, but if it's happened on a few different ones, I might have just gotten lucky.

I've got the Bebop boxset too and haven't had any problems with it. Same for AL boxsets of Escaflowne and Witch Hunter Robin.

BTW, has Bandai announced any plans on releasing an AL boxset for Eureka 7?

DerekTheRed: I haven't had any problems with Bandai disks. They seem pretty good to me.

I personally love the Anime Legends box sets. They are a god send for an anime fan who's low on money, but still wants their favorite Bandai product. I think it's funny though that you can basically expect Bandai to have an Anime Legends box set for an series that's older than 3 years basically. It's pretty consistent like that. Hell, I'm just going to hold out and by the Code Geass Anime Legends box set when that comes around (and you know it will). But I'm still waiting on Ghost in the Shell: SAC2 to get on the Anime Legends list.

I think you'll be waiting for a long time: GitS:SAC is joint release of Bandai and Manga (with strange twist: Bandai logo is shown on the box itself while Manga is shows as publisher in most in the catalogs) and Manga is not fond of rereleases for rereleases. Both boxes went for $48.99 in RightStuff's sale and I've grabbed them, but I doubt there will be Anime Legends rerelease...
