Ha ha, I love the imaginative poses.
They are rather nice-looking figures.

You have made my day Mr. Bricken, you really have.
I've wondered about these figures, but seeing them featured here might just result in my breaking down and buying them. So yeah, thanks a lot.

Nice creative touch at the end, Rob
Those figures do look pretty good, but gashaphon's not my thing. Anyway, I wonder why the six of them ditched Tsubaki? That's just cold...

Wait, I just realized that Tsubaki is technically there. Seems like the platforms weren't the only thing the manufacturer wanted to cut costs on

I think I need to repost those pictures (the last ones), I don't watch S.E. but those are just too silly to keep to myself.

This made my day. Awesome as always Mr. Bricken. At least these were better than those hideous EVA nekos that you showcased last time.

Same here. Currently I'm detoxing from fansubs ans fanscans, so I've not seen anything of Soul Eater except for the chapters in Yen Plus, which, in all honesty, I got a bit stuck on with the art style not being to my taste. All the same, the story has kept me coming back, and so I was hoping to snag some (relatively) inexpensive figures to show my love. I wasn't sure about these, being gashapon and all, I worried over their quality, so to read this positive review from someone whose figures knowledge I respect is a great relief. I'll definitely be hunting for these little beauties now.

It definitely is aesthetically unappealing when a set of figures has the same size stand and not all of them fit very well. It's very annoying that the size worked for all but one that has a foot firmly planted off the stand. Oh well, it's not worth having to reconfigure the machines and potentially raising the price.

Those last few pictures were very funny, I must say.
And yes, a lack of (a human-form) Tsubaki is rather sad to see.

Thankyou Mr. Bricken, you made my day. While I don't have the sort of mind that would think to put the characters together like that, I do appreciate the outrageous humour.
Another great column; keep up the good work.

I found some errors.
Death the Kid is a shinigami, not Maka.
Maka is the meister.

I've only read the Yen Plus chapters of Soul Eater so far, but I do really enjoy it. I didn't know there were gashapon out there, especially ones that look so nice. I just might have to track these down.
Thanks for the review Rob. (This is me being nosy now, but what is that Luffy thing hanging off your drawer? It looks like an air freshener to me, but I can't quite tell. If that's what it is, where on earth did you find it!?)
