The way I read it is the line simply points out the premise of the story is not all humans evolved from apes. Leopard, Bear, Snake, & Bat have been used in the story. I haven't seen too many scientists speculate people are descended from bears.

It must be my lucky day. In the previous thread (announcing the first Sex Pistols OVA) I mentioned that

And here we are! And, judging from the pic on the article, it looks like the 2nd OVA will feature my favorites (and yep, I still haven't bothered to refresh my memory as to their actual names). I'm actually more excited about this 2nd OVA now...
