I just started reading it and what a GREAT manga it is (I also ordered the anime and can't wait to watch it) I have a question though. I only have the first manga, how many are there?

Yeah, Pet Shop of Horrors is a good read. I was pleasantly surprised because I was reluctant to read it at first.
There are 10 volumes. |

I was also surprised at how good it was. It's one of my favourites.
5 volumes are currently out, #6 is coming out in May, 10 volumes total. |

It's also on my top list. From what my friend tells me, also an avid reader, the show is a bit different. D is more dark and mysterious (if that's possible). But I will be buying it soon too ^^

Gah! I love this manga too! I wasn't too sure about it at first, but my friend persuaded me to pick it up. I'm glad I did.
I enjoy the little stories and Count D is one of my favorite characters. An interesting series indeed.

I really like pet shop of horrors it is alot different then what i expected its really good and each volume keeps getting darker....
