Thank god, it looks good. o_o I desperately hope the quality stays high.

I cannot wait for this series to come out. I am going to fangirl it so hard. If they end up mangling it, though, I am going to cry. Or at least fume innefectually and pretend it doesn't exist. Wink

It certainly is looking better than I expected...though I'm still a little doubtful. At least BT isn't shying away from actually showing blood this time Razz

About time! I've been waiting years for the excellent manga to be adapted. Bee Train isn't my first choice, but the promo looks good for something from them.

The great stuff this year in anime continues.

The characters look...too defined somehow. The loose sketchiness of the way the manga is drawn is really lost being animated.

Well, it certainly is better than I expected.
But it's still far from the anime I dreamed of when reading that manga a year ago.

I just hope it'll be epic and they stay true to the manga.

Looks good, but the music blows. Stop ruining my manime[that's manly anime for short] with crappy elevator music they have the audacity to call j-pop.

I know what you mean, I was listening to the last animated adaptation of Golgo 13 (certainly qualify as manime) when this absolutely atrocious and inappropriate opening theme kicks in and ruins the mood, same thing with the ending. Well, okay so it might have been j-rock, but that doesn't mean it wasn't as bad.

Yeah, the background music sort of ruined it for me as well. I'm probably going to end up watching this just to say I've seen it but I'm not really looking forward to this coming out. The visuals don't jump out at me, yes they look above average but nothing to lose sleep over meaning I'll be hoping for some good writing to come out of this. Yes, I know, I know, there's no way.

I hope this gets licensed for a North American release. I read the first few volumes of the manga and I loved it. I wonder who would release it here. I just don't want to have to watch fansubs.

I think that's one of few things that was a given to be lost in the transition.

Looks good. They appear to be keeping at least fairly close to the manga's storyline as well.
