I decided to give it a try, since the idea of a story slowly getting revealed seemed like it might be interesting, but it's so ~uwu~ soft girl, brushing each other's hair, healing magic in the form of kissing... bleh. Mimi almost reminds me of Chii, but not as bad. I don't want to say I'm too old for this (I'm not old!), but I'm too old for this. This is why I don't bother with yuri... but I kinda want to know what's up with this war and this school, so I might keep reading.

When it's clear that a single episode of anime isn't going to be enough to draw viewers in, it's possible to start with a double (or even longer) episode, but I guess manga doesn't have that luxury. At least the English release schedule seems to be pretty tight so it won't be long until the next volume comes out.
