New Mechanics
Super-Evolution
To create more depth and excitement in battles, Worlds Beyond will be introducing a new form of evolution. Similar to evolution points, players will have two super-evolution points each match, which they can use to super-evolve followers of any rarity. Super-evolved followers will gain Rush and +3 to both attack and defense, activate both their Evolve and Super-Evolve abilities, and cannot take damage or be destroyed by abilities during their controller's turns. In addition, enemy followers destroyed by a super-evolved follower's attack will be blown away, knocking them straight into the enemy leader and dealing them 1 damage.
Bonus Play Point
This new mechanic allows the player going second to gain a temporary play point at any time and can be used up to two times per match—once before their sixth turn and once after.
Updated Mechanics
Changes to Evolution
In Worlds Beyond, all followers will now gain a standardized +2 to both attack and defense after evolving, and +3 after super-evolving. Both players will have two evolution points and two super-evolution points, allowing them to evolve a total of four times per match.
Shadowverse Park
Since its introduction in the Shadowverse Next 2024 presentation, the World feature has undergone several changes. By moving away from minigames like fishing, mahjong, and dungeons, the World has been redesigned into a designated space to socialize and engage in card battles: Shadowverse Park.
In Shadowverse Park, or SV Park for short, players can enjoy a variety of activities using their personalized avatars, like battling each other in the lobby or forming a guild with friends. Players will also be able to dress their avatar up as one of the various in-game characters by using visages. Furthermore, SV Park will be used to host online tournaments and other exciting events, open to participation from players all around the world.

Liquefying Cards
In the previous game, players typically liquefied cards that they didn't need to build specific decks. However, this caused many players to only have cards from one class, preventing them from experimenting with other classes.
To solve this issue and encourage players to embrace the spirit of experimentation, players can only liquefy extras beyond the third copy of a card in Worlds Beyond. While this adjustment may make it more difficult to obtain cards through vials, systems like the following will be added to make card packs easier to obtain:
• A free card pack every day.
• Missions that give up to 10 card packs whenever a new card set is released.
• A guaranteed Legendary card with every 10 card packs purchased.
• A prebuilt deck consisting of cards from the first card set and basic cards upon clearing the First Farer beginner missions. Players can choose from nine different recommended decks, each containing a powerful Legendary card.
• Missions and quests in Shadowverse Park that reward not only card packs but other in-game items.
Note that the daily free card pack does not count towards the 10 card packs for a guaranteed Legendary card.
Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025
A new international tournament, Shadowverse World Championship, was announced during Shadowverse Next 2024. However, to commemorate the release of Worlds Beyond, the tournament has been revamped for a more sensational experience. Look forward to Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025, a showdown between the greatest players to decide who will be crowned the 2025 Shadowverse world champion.
Contenders who have already qualified for the Shadowverse World Championship will automatically qualify for Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025. More details will be announced later.
Shadowverse: Evolve
Worlds Beyond's first card set will be coming to the physical trading card game, Shadowverse: Evolve!
Being released for the Japanese edition on July 11, this new booster set will not only feature cards like Olivia, Heroic Dark Angel, it will be introducing the new super-evolution mechanic to the game.
To help new players jump straight into the Japanese edition of Shadowverse: Evolve, brand-new starter decks and a special starter set containing both will be released on June 27.
The special set comes with stylish supplies, including card sleeves that feature World Beyond leaders Marie Malisse and Galan, as well as a set of dice.
All three products come with a serial code containing in-game items for Worlds Beyond. More information will be available at a later date.
While the contents are slightly different, the English version of Shadowverse: Evolve will also be releasing new products with purchase bonuses.
