Well, so much for Toonami airing it. Oh well. At least Family Guy will increase the ratings.

Could have been worse, it could have been a timed exclusive to Microsoft Store & Hoopla.

I'm surprised that Bulma has a different actor considering it's not like playing a kid is anywhere outside of Monica's wheelhouse. But looking at the cast list, maybe they decided to go with basically an entirely different cast. Nadolny is returning, but it has been so long that it's kind of like she is new again.

It was the same for the Japanese cast. Outside of Nozawa herself, all the veteran VAs got replaced by younger actors for thier Mini incarnations. It feels kind of like a conspiracy theory to say it, but I wonder if having an excuse to replace the aging cast wasn't a major motivation for the whole de-aging gimmick to begin with.

I guess not for the debut, but it may eventually air on Toonami. It's plausible that Toonami/Adult Swim could work directly with Toei to get the rights to air, similar to what they did with One Piece.

It's disappointing that Chuck Huber is still getting work considering how he supports the creep Vic, and is also a literal nazi.

^Not to get too off-topic or political but there is a big difference between having problematic or stupid opinions and having multiple colleagues report you for abuse. I may not like or even respect some of my coworkers, but as long as they do their job and don’t make for a hostile environment (although you could argue Chuck did that at the height of the scandal) we can still get the work done and be professional.

I was also pretty surprised since Monica Rial is one of the better dub actors at voicing kids. I assumed the change was to give some newer actors a chance at a large project but most of these actors are somewhat established already, but this is still an impressive title to have on your imdb page. I plan to support the new cast (Paul Castro Jr. is an amazing actor) and hope fans respect the change.

I wonder if it was a Toei thing to do new VA's for everybody.
Either way, hearing Stephanie as Goku again is a treat!
