I'm not sure that the math adds up. Freca died in 2754 (Third Age). The war with the Dunlendings ended in 2959. 183 years later covers a period between 2937 and 2942. Okay, so that at least covers the events of the Quest of Erebor in The Hobbit. But we've got to add just shy of another 60 years to that just to get to Bilbo's birthday party. |
