Yep
As expected as this got a lot of good attention and good reviews by everybody.
Although don't expect it too soon as most likely they did not start production till after it aired and got good feedback, so 2025 release window is probably the outcome.
Looking forward to it.

I am surprised but glad this show is getting a second season. I liked some things about it and definitely want to see more.

I knew it would happen eventually, but it's wild that as a simul-watcher who checks out multiple season previews & tries to watch the first episode of nearly every new title, I'm now at the point of seeing sequels to shows I don't ever recall airing in the first place.
It's probably just that there are so many slight isekai variants that the genre has devolved to mush in my mind. I suspect the show could have been airing this very season & I would have already forgotten about it. No disrespect to the fans, but at this point the format is white noise to me.

I'm not surprised. If The Devil is a Part-Timer, In Another World with my Smartphone and Fruit of Evolution can get new seasons after a relatively long time, then World's Finest Assassin can do it, too.
This show wasn't bad or anything, it's just that it was too plot-driven for its own good and I wish it could have focused more on the characters and their relationships. Hopefully, season 2 will fix that.

I'm surprised to see people not expecting this to have a second season. It was one of the most popular series in Japan for Fall 2021, so like Arifureta a sequel was pretty likely.

I'm surprised it took so long when it seemed like every other Silver Link show or popular Isekai was getting a second season announced around then, especially since the show had pretty good buzz, but I'm glad to have it confirmed nonetheless.

Nice. Pleased to see this news as I enjoyed the first season and was hoping for a follow up after the last episode ended on a last second cliffhanger.
