Oh ok, lol I seen some things that isn't in the other seasons, so was wondering if they went crazy this season.

The praying mantis is Baki doing an uber-extreme form of shadow boxing, so it's literally just a mental image of a giant mantis that Baki is acting as though he's fighting. It's so intense that even the kid that Baki befriends & is watching everything going on starts being able to mentally image the mantis, because Baki treats it that seriously.
Yes, that sounds just about as bizarre (if not more so), but it's at least given an explanation.

Ah, but that's from the next manga series, Baki-dou (1). That's still three seasons away, should Netflix decide to ever go that far.
