That's essentially a weird purple chibi version of Tanjiro. The kind you could imagine seeing in some sort of a collaboration ad campaign between KnY and some grape product manufacturer. This is plagiarism. The resemblance is simply too big for it to be considered subtle intertextuality or even parody.

Being able to claim it's original when it clearly isn't is kind of the point. It's a common MO for totalitarian governments to simply assert what is false as true as a demonstration of power. Because what is anyone going to do about it?
