was wondering what happened to alan, just thought she faded away due to being non Japanese in a Japanese market

She is still active as an artist, but not as much as in Japan. She received so much backlash that I think the company Avex would prefer a low profile for her (not that the backlash is justified or she should be on a low profile for it, but it is within the corporate interest).

I am a long-time fan of alan but I know the limitations to her career are literally everywhere.
