Definitely more looking forward to vol. 3. I think the content covered in 2 was necessary, but I didn't really like Frederica's characterization, and I was severely disappointed to have so little Lena. It felt like the other kids didn't get all that much pagetime either. I was hooked on the first volume's girl-meets-boy long-distance interplay, so to have that removed completely felt quite disappointing. I thought that just a page or two as an interlude every couple chapters would have been enough for me, even if it wasn't anything terribly important, just to continue the "they're connected, but far apart" thing.
