The article says the last uninterrupted stretch was May 2017 to August 2018. That seems like a nice run that could be duplicated. |

Yeah, we really need to get up to where we can get more of the anime too.

After a 3+ year hiatus,the conclusion to "The Wired Red Wild Card" arc was banged out...nice for sure,only took close to a total of 7 years to finish lol. It's time for Black Lagoon to reach an end...some short stories would be nice when that new series of his goes on break. |

What accounts for all these long periods of hiatuses? Perhaps there was some form of Executive Meddling. Perhaps he had to address health or personal issues. Perhaps he a had a period of writer's block. Him being involved with the scripts for most of the "Re:CREATORS" anime definitely limited his time working on the "Black Lagoon" manga.
