Black Lagoon Manga Resumes in September
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Twitter account for Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine revealed on Friday that Rei Hiroe will resume the Black Lagoon manga in the magazine in September, with "more surprises planned."
The manga was initially announced to resume in spring. The manga had resumed in May 2017 following a hiatus that began in early 2014, but then went on hiatus again last August.
Hiroe launched the Black Lagoon manga in Monthly Sunday GX in 2002. The 11th volume (seen right), which shipped last November, is the first compiled book volume of the manga released in four years, since the 10th volume's release in May 2014. Viz Media publishes the manga in North America, and it released the 10th volume in April 2015.
