I have nothing against fishing, especially with cute girls, and especially as a resident of a seaside city myself, but such a large variety of setting starts to make me feel that CGDCT has become so popular and ubiquitous genre that the authors begin similarly chasing originality as isekai authors. I hope that this will not turn into a similar obsession with originality and a sea of weird works with very bizare premise.
That would be very good, but lately KyoAni has rarely taken work from outside. In any case, your thought sounds interesting, since in such work there must be gorgeous coastal and sea views. |

Well, cute girls doing cute things isn't limited to KyoAni, they helped re-popularize with "K-on!" Also, KyoAni has done a lot of the moe-style animation |
