The show has always been slated to have 23 broadcast episodes anyway, so the finale should still air in September. There will be a BD/DVD-exclusive extra episode, though.

Can we all agree that the last 2 episodes had lackluster production ? It's being probably delayed due to production issues which saddens me because they had A TON of time to work on this anime since announcement (i think it was announced back in 2015 if i'm not mistaken) and this being the flagship franchise of White Fox, i would have expected them to give their best but at least these 2 episodes have been handled execrably.

Considering how well loved the original Steins Gate is, it's disappointing that this sequel doesn't seem to have been made with the same care. I'm glad I already decided I would just wait until it ended and binge watch it all at once.

Considering how they could fudge up the action scenes in the last episode, not surprised that they are running on a short schedule.

They could done a behind-the-scenes epi. like those 2 they did with Franxx.
